Research Assistance

The staff at the Lyon County Historical Archives is available to assist patrons with research. When requesting research by mail or e-mail, please include the full name of the person you are researching, a time period, and what you require;birth, death, marriage, location of residence, obituary notices, etc. The more information you provide the sooner we are able to return an answer to you. We request donations of $10 per hour for research and $.50 per copy. Donations are tax deductible. The Lyon County Historic Society is a not for profit organization. It is only through the generosity of our patrons that we are able to provide research assistance.
